I started with Sporting life in 1997 in the Service shop at Sherway gardens as part of a Coop placement. At the time I was attending Humber College in the Equipment Sport specialist program.

It was a great working environment and really enjoyed tuning skis and stringing tennis racquets. I had the opportunity to String Racquets at the Du Maurier open and now Rogers cup for players like Monica Seles, Andy Roddick, Serena Williams, Andy Murray etc for the better of 10 years.

I eventually moved to the sales floor and worked part time while attending Sheridan College for Business. When I graduated school in the summer of 2002, Sporting life announced that they were opening a store in Collingwood. I have always been passionate about skiing and snowboarding and this was an opportunity to get closer to the ski hills while I figured out what I was going to do long term. It was 2007 when there was an opportunity at Head office in the Hardgoods Buying department for 2 years. It was a tough decision but wanted a new challenge. I learned so much in the two years I was there from Ross Hagan about the business. It was a great experience. I moved back to Collingwood and in the fall of 2013 I was promoted to Store manager. Since then I have not looked back. I have made lifelong friends and get to live my passion for Sport every day. Sporting life has great people and is a great company to work for!
